Blusoes Negros LP

I saw these guys on some garage rock compilation and took this photo from an old Jockey Journal post and would have to say this has got to be one of the coolest motorcycle related album covers I've ever seen. A case of cafe racers on the prowl!

Monster Miscellaneous

Old "Drag Nut" model kit. The builder went nuts with the dayglo pink and rhinestone eyes.

Here's a rad original 60s Ed Roth "Mother's Worry" t-shirt with great Russell Athletic tag currently on Ebay. I think this is the first original Roth t-shirt I've seen up for sale. I've only seen sweatshirts before when they had about four (4) or so at the Peterson auction a couple of years back.

Stanley Mouse original art screened on felt! I think the piece is called Psycho Rider???

Borrani WM-0 x 21" Record 40 Hole Alloy Rim

I'm not sure why these rims are so much harder to find then the WM-1's but maybe they were too fragile under load? At any rate, the WM-0 stands for 1.40" versus the WM-1 which is generally a 1.60" (measurement is taken at underside of rim). Its kind of interesting with the terminology as the pristine one John Edwards is running on the panhead is labeled RM-0. I think his is actually an older rim. I may be wrong but think Borrani used larger lettering on the older rims and smaller letters on the newer ones. Does anyone know who made a WM-0 rim in steel as the only ones I've seen before are a couple of Borranis and a handful of Akronts, both obviously alloy?

Insane Pre-unit Show Bikes

Type in "The Emerald" under the search feature as I believe I have a picture of this same bike completed. By the way both of these awesome shots were sent to me by Rene of Australia and are from the following Jockey Journal link as posted by Wes of Four Aces: http://www.jockeyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=45600

Here's a great "Emerald" picture before completion from the Jockey Journal posted by Wes I think?

Man, those flames are perfect and I dig how the flames look like waves on the fender!

Black Chrome Exhibit

I just got back from this cool exhibit called "Black Chrome" at the African American History Museum in downtown Los Angeles. If you're planning on going there is a cool 15 minute film about the clubs thats worth sticking around for. Check out the details at http://www.caamuseum.org/ce.htm. By the way admission is free but parking is $6.00. (No cameras are allowed as I just found out after taking these few shots!)

Talk about narrow with a capital "N"!!!
