I'm guessing the bike in the right corner is a pan but it could be a shovel or knuckle too? Whatever it is its a pretty nifty custom! Picture comes from a late 60s men's magazine.
What are those boots that guy on the left is wearing? They have a buckle like engineer boots, but obviously aren't. I've seen them in many '60s photos.
