Here's a nice advertisement with some late 50s ripple pipe which is most likely the same era as the convoluted sections on Larry Howard's "Glittercycle" I'm guessing. I particularly like how this piece has starts and stops or ripple and plain sections mixed in! (Ad from a 1959 Hot Rod Magazine)
