These shifters are all pretty sweet ways to stand out from the crowd! Type in Armond's Knucklehead in the search feature to see the Speed-E-Shift set-up in action!(Easyriders Special Issue!)
Stretch! Nothing is sacred anymore...just because you got a copy of the amazing Earlyriders mag/book doesn't mean you have to share...food for thought...
I choose/prefer to share the materials I have acquired with those who are interested. Knowledge of parts, however rare they may be, doesn't make them any easier to find. I view this site as a historical reference of articles related to custom motorcycles as there is no good book available that adequately catalogs the stuff; at least to my liking.
i agree with both of you. on the one hand it sucks when the cool stuff leaks out. on the other hand if it wasnt for leaks then i would have no knowledge of it. correct, these items are hard to find and when you do find them they are missing parts and those who are selling them want a million dollars. the good thing is that out of all the people in the bike world only a handful desire this stuff and want it on their machines. im running the B&H on my panhead. yet, a lot of people think it is too bulky and rather hang it on the shelf than run it. it fits my style. thanks for sharing...
I know it's an old post, but could you provide the exact/complete name of the publication with the Speed-E-Shift article and the date? Family connection. Thank you.
