Here are some photos of Stan's OHC panhead from the NHRA Museum. If you live nearby its worth the $5.00 admission to see this crazy bike first hand but for those of you further away you can enjoy the pictures!
I've had dreams about that thing... off the hook. Friggin Kinsler injected, too. He later invented the "slick" for motorcycles. Classic piece right there, for sure.
The amount of work they did back then is amazing. Such attention to detail doesnt seem to be around so much anymore. Great blog man thanks. If you ever have shirts made count me for a purchase or 2.
Thanks for the kind words. I honestly would have to say I reserve the t-shrits for the guys that are actually painting or fabricating or are doing something tangible to the bikes. I think for me to have one would make me feel like a real poser. The site is just a mass of information or a free library for the custom bike builder. I'm just sharing what I've found and what I like hoping that it inspires others!
