Original Dave Mann Painting to be Auctioned on 05/11/12

Dave Mann (signing as Ed "Big Daddy" Roth) Biker Rally Painting Original Art (Roth Studios, 1966). It's a real "meeting of the minds" as assorted members of Satan's Slaves, Hangmen, and Gypsy Jokers converge in the desert. Bah-rrooom! The fearsome outlaw motorcycle clubs of the sixties had their playful side, too! This enormous painting, done by noted motorcycle artist Dave Mann for "Big Daddy" Roth's popular series of 1960s posters, is in acrylics on illustration board, with an image area of approximately 28" x 17.5", matted and Plexiglas framed to an overall 38.75" x 29.5" It's in Excellent condition. Live to ride, man!

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe this image was used on one of the old Roth Catalogs.  Anyhow if you're interested to bid or in getting more information you can do so HERE!

FOR SALE - Vintage 1960's Levis Big E Jacket with Chainstiched "Tasmanian Devils" Colors - Biker Gang?

Mark Lewis has a very unique 1960's Levis Big E Third Edition Jacket up for sale, most likely a 70505 as its missing the jerky tag, with a chainstitched "Tasmanian Devils" scripting and logo.  I'm assuming is jacket is motorcycle club related though I have no knowledge of the Tasmanian Devils.  It appears there is some sort of blood-like stain near the top of the lettering area.  I'm not sure on the size but if you have any questions or are interested in making this jacket yours please contact Mark Lewis at hotrodlew2@charter.net to get all the details!

Vintage 1950's Red Wing Irish Setter Boots - 13N

My brother found this super cool pair of early Red Wing Irish Setter Work boots from the Mid-1950's.  According to one of the Japanese Vintage books the tag on these boots was the first tag with the Irish Setter dog which is pretty neat.  The soles he was told were replaced but they were replaced way back in the day as these Biltrite Nuron-Crepe soles appear to be of early 1960's vintage and are in fantastic shape.  Too bad they are a size too small.

John Edwards' 1959 Pink Panhead of Perfection - Street Chopper Feature Article

Though I have not seen it in person myself this 1959 Panhead, John Edwards' latest creation, looks quite amazing from the pictures.  It reminds me of the early 60's Cycle Magazine "California Custom" Panhead crossed with Peter Fonda's Wild Angels "Dragon Bike."  Its a timeless machine loaded with properly proportioned rarities.  Check out the Street Chopper article with photo shoot HERE!
