Triumph Battery Box With History
I've got to give Kustomhut due credit for finding some very nice pre-unit show bike treasures. He had the original Amal GP carbs off the Kepaloa triumph drag bike for sale a year ago and now this cool battery box. "The pictures of the bike it was on were found in the 3rd Annual Motorcycle Sport Book published by Peterson in 1968. You can see that a custom made, chromed horse shoe was added to the sides and underneath in small pinstripe brush it says, 'My Luck Running Out'." I'll have to keep my eye out for a copy! Check out Paul "Kustomhut's" Show & Go Blog as this guy definitely knows his triumphs (and I thought I had a good collection of pre-unit articles. I stand corrected!): http://showandgo.blogspot.com/

Thanks for the credit man. I've been teaching early history so far, but will cover the Show Bike era soon! Your blog and Mike's Born Loser were my inspiration.
